Purpose
This policy explains how Serenity Now (the divorce mediation assistant) handles data shared during use.
What Data We Collect
Conversation text: Information you share in chats with Serenity Now.
Session details: General session activity (like when a mediation started and ended).
No identifiers required: You do not need to provide full names, addresses, Social Security numbers, or other sensitive personal identifiers.
How Data Is Used
Facilitation only: Data is used to guide mediation sessions, suggest discussion frameworks, and draft Memoranda of Understanding (MOU).
Improvement: Aggregated, non-identifiable patterns may be reviewed to improve the service.
No sale of data: Your data will never be sold to third parties.
Data Sharing
Within mediation only: Data stays within the mediation session unless you choose to export it (e.g., download a draft MOU).
No third-party marketing: Information is never shared with advertisers.
Data Retention
User choice: You may request deletion of your session records at any time.
Default retention: Session data is retained only as long as needed to support mediation progress.
Security
Data is stored using reasonable technical and organizational safeguards.
However, Serenity Now cannot guarantee absolute security, so you should avoid entering highly sensitive information that is not needed for mediation.
Your Rights
Access: You can request a copy of your session history.
Deletion: You can request deletion of your session data.
Correction: You may clarify or update your inputs at any time during mediation.
